High Point (Pty) Ltd is a BEE company that supports the black economic empowerment. The company has been formed for the purpose of serving the mining industry in specialized fields.

During the past seven years of operation the company have concluded various small to medium projects in Africa, South-Africa and neighbouring countries. The projects/contracts executed included a full spectrum of disciplines and range in value from a mere R15.000-00 to in excess of R6 000 000-00. The company is dedicated to safety ,quality and commitment and believes in service excellence.

Work Capabilities

Currently our capabilities are financially limited to annual turnover not exceeding a value of R30 000 000-00 As part of our core business we also offer our clients a range of construction management, Estimating and costing, Quality assurance, Quality control, and Planning services. In addition to the above, we have managed other contractors on behalf of our very supportive client base.

Quality Assurance

We are currently in the process of implementing our Quality Assurance manual. This manual is produced to work in the spirit of ISO 9000 and is tailored to suit our very individual needs. As High Point main discipline is underground installations, this manual had to be tailored to incorporate this discipline.

Safety

Since the inception of the company in 1997, no major injuries or any fatalities, has occurred.  We believe that our approach to safe working conditions and a safe working environment for our employee's is the key to this safety record.


Our safety policy is to work in accordance with our pre determined method statements.  These method statements are used to compile risk assessments and special instructions that forms part of our site procedures.

We will not take any shortcuts and always adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
